Volunteer Grants 2025-6

Volunteer Grants support the work of community organisations that rely on volunteers, by removing barriers to volunteering and promoting awareness of volunteering opportunities.

Each electorate will have up to $66,665 available, for grant amounts of between $1,000 and $5,000 for eligible not for profit organisations.

Grants can be used to purchase communication or insurance items and/or purchase items for the main purpose of supporting volunteer cohorts and volunteer-run activities as specified in the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.

Expressions of Interest are now closed for the 2025-6 Volunteer Grants program. The community consultative committee will now review all submissions and notify organisations of the outcome in April 2026.

Groups who receive a nomination will then need to submit an application during the coming months.

Please note groups should not spend any anticipated grant funding until their full application is approved.
